Venturing out into the community to make use of the available resources, we took a group of eight teens to the South Branch Library for them to get their babysitting certifications. A full dedicated day was spent to completing this Red Cross certification. The class covered proper child care techniques, including how to perform the Heimlich maneuver on an infant. These newly certified teens are now properly prepared to care for younger children.
